Ton van Remmen founded Van Remmen UV Technology in 1999 with the mission to work towards a world where clean and safe water is accessible for everyone.
With his company he wants to contribute to a world in which the water we borrow from nature is at least as clean, but preferably better returned to nature as a thank you for using it. Not as an intention, but as a concrete impact of his organization. Van Remmen UV Technology does this using efficient and powerful UV disinfection and UV oxidation systems. A forever removal of the ‘forever chemicals’.
In chemical processes, the very toxic substance dioxane can be generated. UV-AOP Technology prevents this substance from ending up in nature and eventually drinking water by supporting the chemical industry with a sustainable and innovative advanced oxidation technology.
At Efteling theme park, effluent water from the wastewater treatment plant is reused as an alternative to pumping fresh ground water. This reduces water consumption and minimizes environmental impact.
